Powerhouse is hiring a Marketing Manager to develop and execute Powerhouse’s marketing strategy to generate new clients and maximize our climate impact. The Marketing Manager will develop marketing strategies to facilitate business development, lead Powerhouse’s digital platforms and podcast, and maintain and grow Powerhouse as a leading voice in climate tech innovation.
Develop new marketing strategies and content to facilitate business development
Lead the development of sales materials and maintain brand consistency across all business development collateral
Develop and execute new strategies to bring in inbound leads and work with the Head of Business Development to improve sales performance
Showcase our work with clients and the outcomes we enable, including crafting articles and social content
Lead Powerhouse’s digital platforms, podcast, and communications
Manage Powerhouse’s website, newsletter, and social media in coordination with the Marketing & Operations Associate
Lead our Watt It Takes podcast, including managing podcast growth, sponsor relationships, and episode production alongside a third-party audio production firm
Analyze marketing data to optimize performance and inform priorities
Manage the Marketing & Operations Associate
Maintain and grow the Powerhouse brand
Maintain and grow Powerhouse as a leader in climate tech innovation through compelling communications, visuals, speaking engagements, and thought leadership
Develop occasional events and programming to grow the Powerhouse community
Ensure consistent branding and design across all materials and platforms
4-8+ years of experience in marketing and communications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field
Strong understanding of B2B marketing and demonstrated success in marketing to corporate clients
Experience managing and growing public-facing brands and social media accounts
Excellent communication and writing skills
Ability to use limited data to analyze and improve marketing strategies
Eye for detail and grasp of graphic design fundamentals
Familiarity with the climate tech landscape
Experience developing podcasts and editing websites in HTML/CSS is preferred, but not required
Passion for developing people-centered narrative content and media
Thrive in a fast-paced environment with limited support staff and a small but highly effective team
