As the Director of Finance at Infravision, you will oversee FP&A, treasury and accounting operations, ensuring the financial health and success of the company. This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished finance executive to not only lead financial functions but also act as a strategic business partner, providing day-to-day guidance in support of Infravision’s growth trajectory towards a sustainable and renewable energy future. What you’ll do

  • Financial Leadership:  Instill performance driven culture and financial best practices, participating in key decisions as a member of the executive management team. Assist in formulating and executing the company's long-term strategy and growth plan. Support the CFO with the development of best-in-class financial business processes and associated policies and procedures.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Provide insightful financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to support decision-making and business planning. Develop and manage annual budgets, monitor financial performance against goals and collaborate with department heads to drive cost optimization, productivity, pricing and revenue growth initiatives. Define and implement key performance indicators alerting the management team to potential issues and recommending solutions to any problem areas.
  • Treasury and Asset Management: Oversee cash flow management and working capital optimization, including ongoing refinement of order to cash, procure to pay and inventory management practices.  Manage treasury function, including banking relationships, debt financing, cash deployment, hedging and risk management.
  • Financial Models: Develop and maintain complex financial models and sensitivity analyses, including corporate financial models, budget roll-ups, make-or-buy, lease vs buy, customer ROI and project DCF analysis to support data-driven decision making and capital allocation.
  • Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Accounting Management: Recruit and develop a high-performing accounting team, capable of ensuring accurate, timely and efficient financial record-keeping and reporting across all geographies and business lines. Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and processes, including general ledger, revenue recognition, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and project cost accounting. Instill culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Project Accounting: Manage project accounting, including cost estimating guidelines, revenue recognition, and budget variance analysis.  Implement and enhance project accounting systems and processes.
  • Internal Controls: Develop and implement effective internal control procedures to safeguard financial assets and prevent fraudulent activities. Ensure adherence to all financial, tax and statutory regulations, company policies, and loan covenants. Procure and direct 3rd party accounting, tax, and auditing services.
  • ERP Implementation: Oversee selection and implementation of new company wide ERP system, with a special focus on project accounting modules.
  • International Operations: Navigate the complexities of international financial landscapes and manage operations across global subsidiaries. Collaborate with local country teams and partners to ensure consistency and compliance across all company locations. (Infravision currently operates in the USA, Australia, India and Canada, and has future global expansion plans.)  

 

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of financial management experience with a proven record of advancement.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization.
  • Self-starter, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Thorough knowledge of financial best practices and accounting principles with a proven ability to provide sound and ethical financial counsel to executive leadership.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial management software and ERP systems, outstanding Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and automation.

 

Highly Desirable Qualifications and Experience

  • MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Ideal applicants will have experience within a fast-growing organization engaged in manufacturing, construction projects and post-installation services.
  • Experience with ERP implementations.
  • Experience with cost budgeting, tracking and accounting for large construction projects.
  • International finance experience, with a deep understanding of global financial operations and practices.
