Overlap Holdings is looking for a Director of Content & Communications

What you’ll be doing: We are seeking a Director of Content & Comms to generate content and
earned media which promotes Overlap’s activities and brand, putting Overlap at the “center of
discussion” with respect to world-positive deeptech. Responsibilities include:

● Publish/write/produce/edit blog posts, opinion pieces, videos, etc.
● Develop and cultivate social media presence, website, brand, etc.
● Engage journalists and other earned media outlets
● Create engaging content by flushing out initial ideas and increasing their span and scope
● Develop marketing materials, communications and periodic update deliverables for
investors in the Rolling Fund and SPVs we set up
● Create new ideas and develop compelling narratives to amplify the Overlap message
and mission
● Over time, explore ways to monetize the content and brand in ways that are
complementary to, and consistent with, Overlap’s overall mission

What skills & experience you’ll bring to us: We are seeking someone with 7+ years
experience in a combination of media/communications and startup/venture/finance roles
● Needs to be a strong writer and editor who can take a concept that the team articulates
and manifest it in an engaging and clear fashion
● Knowledge of / experience with building a social media presence
● Knowledge of / experience with engaging earned media outlets
● “Does” more than outsources - respects the “startup” nature of the company Day 1
● Must have a general grasp of financial industry terms and conventions
● Must be excited about, and motivated by, Overlap’s core mission
● Solutions-driven, hard worker with a “startup mindset” - ie, a focus on getting things done
the right way in a timely manner
● No side hustles; will be expected to agree to IP/Confidentiality protections

The specifics:
● Compensation: TBD - combination of salary, bonus, and profit share
● Location-agnostic - Overlap is a fully-remote company. Work anywhere in a compatible
time zone with a fast, reliable internet connection
