Microsoft is looking for a Program Manager, Decarbonization Data and Strategy to join the Renewable Energy Team within the Cloud Operations + Innovation Organization. This position will be responsible for supporting the team that is advancing Microsoft’s 100/100/0 vision that 100% of electrons on the world’s grids, 100% of the time, will be generated from zero-carbon sources. This role will focus on collecting, analyzing, presenting, and engaging with the market to advocate for more granular energy data.
This Program Manager will enable data-driven carbon-free energy procurement, support strategy development, and demonstrate Microsoft’s progress toward its carbon-free commitments. This role will provide the candidate a unique opportunity to join a market leading team in innovative procurement and gain a wide range of exposure to global energy markets.
The successful candidate will have a passion for decarbonization, experience working with large datasets, proven cross-functional collaboration, and analytical skills. Sourcing Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
