Project Development Senior Officer / Manager Renewables (f/m/d)

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop budgets, estimates and plans for development projects including: (i) equipment and construction pricing, (ii) labor rates and schedules, and (iii) productivity estimates,
  • Establish, review and hold parties to construction budgets, maintain construction schedules, review work scopes, and review and respond to RFIs, submittals and change orders,
  • Coordinate bidding processes required to procure goods and services necessary for all phases of project execution, including preparation of bid packages, evaluation of proposals and contract negotiations,
  • Work in partnership with development teams to assure a timely transition of development project sites into the construction phase,
  • Ensure HSE requirements are met and procurement policies are followed,
  • Drive planning, licensing, permitting, connection, construction and other technical work processes to realize the team’s renewable energy projects,
  • Evaluate new development projects, including feasibility studies, grid access and availability review and risk analysis, with support of internal and selected external resources (e.g. technical, legal and insurance advisors),
  • Act as primary interface with design, EPC, construction management and other partners,
  • Support in sourcing and execution of off-take opportunities,
  • Oversee and engage in project site sourcing activities in CEE market and lead land securing/ acquisition in such selected cases,
  • Preparation of tendering and management of contracts related to the development and construction of renewable energy projects,
  • Manage local partner and stakeholder networks,
  • Support and define development stage project due diligence scope of work and budget, negotiation of engagement letters with external advisors and coordination of the due diligence,
  • Support and lead negotiations with stakeholders of potential development acquisitions,
  • Support the optimization of commercial and technical operations for renewable energy projects,
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with project developers, local partners, subcontractors, authorities, grid operators and technical advisors,
  • Support and track internal approval process for development projects and transactions,
  • Prepare internal project progress reports to management, and other stakeholders,
  • Prepare and maintain development project reporting,
  • Travel to sites and stakeholder meetings will be required.

 

What we expect:

  • Relevant experince of project and construction management in CEE (preferred) renewables,
  • Project development experience ideally in wind or solar development from investor or developer’s side,
  • Deep knowledge of the renewables permitting and regulatory background in at least one CEE jurisdiction is a must,
  • CEE language skills with fluency in English is a must,
  • Engineering degree in structural, electrical fields,
  • Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal and project management skills,
  • Leadership experience.
