Role Description:

 

As the Head of Marketing, you will be owning top of funnel expansion, revenue operations and product marketing for Electric Era. You will be building the strategy and driving execution on the core marketing functions that drive company and product awareness amongst our customer base, the EV driver community, and with key government regulators. You will work with product, sales, government affairs, and company leadership to develop the marketing messaging and lead generation strategies that enable company revenue targets.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Own Electric Era demand generation and awareness amongst our customer base, the EV driver community, and with key government regulators
  • Coordinate the lead generation strategy and desired outcomes by working with product, sales, government affairs, and company leadership
  • Develop optimal product marketing messaging for EV drivers, customers, and government regulators
  • Own the product marketing and sales enablement for Electric Era. Oversee a team of website designers, UX designers and graphic designers to create marketing collateral, website pages, infographics and other materials that expand Electric Era messaging
  • Oversee and implement revenue operations and CRM automation
  • Partner with and challenge sales team to meet and exceed aggressive growth goals
  • Account based marketing for high value enterprise clients
  • Ownership of the customer journey from end to end

 

Preferred Background and Experience:

 

  • At least 5+ years of growth marketing experience working within the technology sector
  • Ability to manage P&L marketing budget
  • Possess a test and learn data driven mentality
  • Experience with vendor management
  • Track record of success working effectively and independently across functions to deliver against deadlines
  • Strong partner development skills and experience independently leading business discussions
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Detailed understanding of electric industry including regulatory policy, financing and technology
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Track record of success working at high-growth, engineering-driven companies
  • Ability to be flexible in a fast paced environment with limited direction
  • Previous EV, EV Charging, Solar, Government, technology, or utility business development experience is preferred
