We’re looking for a full-time Data Analyst to join our team who will be responsible for expanding and maintaining our climate tech datasets. The relational data created is the heart of the product, which will be used by investors and corporates to deploy capital in the shift to net zero. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is passionate about data accuracy, detail-oriented, and possesses strong analytical skills. You should also have a strong desire to learn about the climate tech industry.

The Role

  • Collection — Collect and analyze data from various structured and unstructured data sources to maintain and update our proprietary database. Identify gaps and work with stakeholders to onboard new data sets
  • Cleaning — Continuously improve data quality and accuracy by identifying and resolving data inconsistencies
  • Processing — Work with the founders to develop an effective data management process: automating manual processes where possible, along with data cleaning and QA procedures
  • Methodology — Develop methodologies to classify data for use and display on the CTVC platform

The Essentials

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Legally authorized to work full-time in the United Kingdom

A Plus

  • Experience with Airtable
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques.
  • Previous internship or work experience in a related field
  • Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres
  • Working understanding of climate tech sectors
