Director, Technical Diligence (Solar & Storage)

Euclid Power Inc. – Services Group | Location: Remote (With occasional travel for team meetings to NYC or client meetings as required/permissible) | Full-Time (40+ hours/week)

About Us

Euclid Power is the operating system for the renewable energy industry. We offer a diligence, development, and data management platform alongside world-class advisory services to help project developers and investors deploy renewable energy faster than ever before. We believe that the process of deploying renewable energy projects should be powered by software that can help more projects start, fewer fail, and accelerate the world's transition to clean energy.

Euclid is trusted by some of the largest solar investors, solar developers, utilities, and technology integrators to provide software, guidance, and project diligence support. Euclid has over a dozen clients and >3GW of renewable energy across 150 projects on our platform and under advisory. Euclid is led by a world-class team of renewable energy veterans that previously created the diligence, investing, and execution process for some of the industry’s leading developers and investors including Goldman Sachs Renewable Power, EDF Renewables, Tesla, Blackstone (Onyx), GE Solar, and Generate Capital.

We are seeking a Director for the Technical Diligence/M&A vertical of our Services Team who is looking to make a sizable impact on the future of the renewable energy industry.  Euclid’s Services Team provides best-in-class consulting & advisory services to our clients and is comprised of the Technical Diligence/M&A, Project Development, and Project Execution verticals through the use of our platform.

Our company is committed to hiring talented team members who are hardworking, passionate, and committed to our mission. Hires at this stage will immediately contribute to our product, processes, and — most importantly — culture. At Euclid, learning, growing and testing the best ideas are central to our approach to solving one of the world’s most important challenges: climate change.

Our Story

Euclid Power’s Services Team was born out of Euclid’s unwavering commitment to process and ‘doing the right thing’ with a high standard of care. We have witnessed firsthand how portfolios in the renewable power industry suffer from cost overruns, massive schedule delays, uninformed stakeholders, overlooked project risks, and many dead deals. We were continuously frustrated with the lack of competent technical expertise, data and process management, and under-prioritization of deal continuity and organization. Whether it was development and execution on a single 300MW site, or a portfolio of 150kW rooftop projects, overall deal execution always fumbled through the same unstructured and ambiguous process, masked in uncertainty as to where to start and where to head next. Euclid was founded to bring much-needed operational reprieve to the industry and finally get this process right. As the industry grows, our ardent mission is to aid our clients, armed with unmatched technical acumen and industry-specific platform & toolset, in developing, de-risking, building, and financing their projects on time and on budget frankly, to ensure more renewable energy deals get done.
