The Manager will develop an innovation program to implement pilot projects to meet critical renewable energy targets and design new business models. The Manager will also provide recommendations on potential pilot partners. Additionally, the Manager will share responsibilities with other team members on key areas of incubator management and responsibilities: active recruitment of startup applicants, deal analysis and evaluation, portfolio company support, development, and execution of all Urban Future Lab (UFL) programs. This is a 3 year fixed term appointment.

Preferred Experience:
5+ years experience with roles in project/program management, consulting, venture capital, or work experience at a startup, government agency, or energy/utility company. Any work experience related to the New York State Reforming the Energy Vision (REV) policy framework will be seen as a plus. Experience evaluating applications to an incubator or accelerator program, or any experience teaching, coaching, or as a speaker at a conference or panel discussion will also be highly valued. Experience or interest in playing a leadership role is also a plus.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Informed and experienced in energy efficiency, renewable energy, or utility industry. Proficiency in Zoom, Slack, Google Suite and Airtable is preferred.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $80,000.00 to USD $100,000.00.
