To ensure solar energy has the infrastructure to scale, Raptor Maps is looking for an experienced and transformational VP of Enterprise Sales to serve as a SaaS revenue growth leader that drives sales strategies and action plans to meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth goals. This leader will need to hold an in depth knowledge of project financing — think Internal Rate of Return(IRR), risk mitigation, Net Present Value(NPV). The VP of Enterprise Sales will be responsible for aggressively growing top-line revenue and driving new business while thriving in our fast-paced team as a master of execution.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex sales cycle selling LCM SaaS to Solar PV asset owners and developers
  • Own the strategy and communication for large enterprise accounts 
  • Manage the overall sales strategy and process with a focus on pipeline development to exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Become a trusted, knowledgeable representative of Raptor Maps and a“go to” person in the solar industry by building rapport with customers virtually and in-person
  • Strategize an annual sales plan and provide quarterly updates, revisions, and modifications to the plan
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Collaborate with Project Management, Product Management, and Marketing, as key partners in hitting company goals 
  • Recruit, train, and lead a sales team to identify, qualify, and close ample pipeline to exceed sales targets 

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of exceeding 3X revenue growth year over year at a high growth, early stage company
  • Solid knowledge of developer cash flow and net present value analysis 
  • Consultative approach to sales, understanding pain points of customers and addressing their needs through solutions selling
  • Deep experience in selling both B2B software and services. Successful in multi-product enterprise sales, particularly using land-and-expand approach.
  • Track record of being relentlessly data-driven to plan and execute on sales strategy
  • Ability to communicate externally with customers and internally across teams, and build rapport with all
  • Experience creating and building a diverse and inclusive team environment that fosters trust and a sense of empowerment via a purposeful culture
  • Experience in the Solar industry (bonus!)
  • Professionally fluent in Spanish, German, Italian, French, or Japanese (double bonus!)
