As a member of our Developer Productivity and Engineering Operations team, you will build, design, and deploy services and tools that are used by every single developer for builds, testing, and cloud deployment. This also includes tools to observe and manage the public cloud infrastructure and application services. You will work side by side with engineering teams, working with them to support daily operations and our long-term roadmap. This team is chartered to understand software development pain points and provide solutions for those, set guidelines for code organization and development, and ensure that our development and production environments in general are kept performant and stable as we continue to add more features and functionalities to our product portfolio. As a key member of this team you will have the opportunity to define and mold the future of development infrastructure at Aurora.

What you’ll do:

    • Design and develop innovative automated solutions that enable developers to stay productive as they continue to add product features and functionality
    • Interpret, analyze usage of, and drive improvements to our development and production environments
    • Build tools that measure operational performance of our environments
    • Enable automation for quick and efficient configuration of development environments
    • Work with developers, QA, and engineering leadership to keep the code and overall development process efficient and secure

What we value:

    • A desire to understand development pain points, and build innovative solutions that help teams deliver and deploy the solutions they build
    • Proven track record of developing and contributing to software development infrastructure
    • Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/ECS), experience with public cloud (AWS), and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
    • Well-versed with build tools and frameworks
    • Good comprehension of networking and security concepts
    • Solid development experience in both frontend and backend development
