This person will play a pivotal role in helping direct investment into carbon removal technologies and other high quality projects that help us reach our climate goals.

As we are growing we are seeking a Climate Solutions specialist with proven experience and a passion for helping educate stakeholders on climate and the impact the VCM has on climate change. This role will be the main climate solutions point of contact for our clients which range from small to enterprise. This is an exciting opportunity to help companies take meaningful action against climate change. 

 

What You Will Do:

  • Act as a subject matter expert to customers on procuring carbon credits through Cloverly
  • Educate customers and prospects on the voluntary carbon markets
  • Develop solutions for direct purchases that make it faster, easier for customers to execute transactions with Cloverly
  • Support bespoke solutions needed for strategic customers - this may be custom portfolios, researching specific carbon solutions and other creative recommendations for supporting customers’ needs
  • Create deliverables that will be used during the sales process to build confidence and trust in Cloverly recommendations, differentiate Cloverly from other vendors, and help customers make faster decisions
  • Develop solutions that enable customers to plan for their carbon credit needs over time and build solutions that support a long-term relationship between Cloverly and our customers
  • Identify patterns in what the market needs and work with the supply team and other internal teams to bring those offerings to our customers
  • Support strategic customers pre-sale & post sales
  • Work with marketing to develop tools in support of customers & prospects needs
  • Support customer’s Go-To-Market engagement programs through the creation and delivery of carbon credit sales training programs 

You Might Be A Fit If You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience working with carbon credits research, sales, solution development, consulting, etc
  • Expertise in climate and an ability to translate important information into high-level stake holders (ex. CSO)
  • Experience in a customer facing role, working with large accounts [ie F1000]
  • Previous experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales
  • An ability to apply climate expertise to product sales
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced, hypergrowth environment
