About EnergyTag
EnergyTag is a mission-driven non-profit founded in 2020 that works with the world’s leading organizations to build the next generation of clean energy markets and corporate carbon accounting. To do this, we work with hundreds of stakeholders to develop technical standards for more transparent energy tracking using granular energy certificates which ensure demand is met with clean energy supply every hour. A vast improvement on the current system.
We also work to advise governments around the world on various policy topics, for example, ensuring clean hydrogen standards incorporate cutting edge technologies and methods to ensure environmental integrity. The enhancement of clean energy markets and carbon accounting spearheaded by EnergyTag is strongly supported by large consumers (e.g Google, Microsoft), governments (e.g EU, US) and the benefits are demonstrated by robust empirical evidence (IEA, Princeton, MIT). It’s an exciting time to join this movement.
