I am looking for a co-founder (m/f/d) who is experienced in energy markets and interested in founding a startup to challenge the energy industry.

Our goal is to enable a bigger part of the population to participate in the green energy revolution, without the need to install their own solar panels in their home. So we are addressing a so far untapped market of people living in cities or small to mid sized businesses who don’t have their own plants or buildings. 

We want to enable these individuals and companies to reduce their exploding energy costs and earn money with their own renewable energy. 

I am looking for an experienced co-founder with an energy markets, energy innovation or energy trading background to set up a stellar founding team with an additional 1-2 people from other specialized backgrounds. 

About me: 

I am an experienced entrepreneur with 2 exits. The companies I founded employ over 120 people today and make over €30m in revenue. I also serve on the board of a Dax 40 company and a billion dollar private equity company. I bring expertise in launching and operating a startup, fundraising (having raised over €10m), growth and branding, finance and more. 

I have run my last companies remotely and am open to a remote or hybrid working model. 

About you: 

I am looking for a co-founder with complementary skill-set and deep expertise in energy markets/ energy innovation or energy trading. You should be willing to build this new venture from the ground up, joining in an early phase for research, strategy, investor meetings and more. Your skills should include: 

• 5+ years experience in energy markets/ energy innovation or energy trading.
• Strong track record of perseverance and desire to succeed

• Commitment, motivation and entrepreneurial spirit to build up a new company from zero
• Strong capability to deep dive and learn new topics
• Creativity to solve complex problems and design technical solutions
• Experience in the blockchain is beneficial, but not crucial
• Leadership experience is a plus 
• Open mindedness, attention to detail, ability to find constructive solutions
