Sightline Climate is the market intelligence platform bringing clarity to the new climate economy. Sightline Climate’s subscription intelligence product provides data, tools, and frameworks to help investors, corporates, and governments build and finance the new climate economy. Sightline Climate also produces CTVC, the industry-leading newsletter read by 60,000 climate leaders.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within the technology or environmental sectors. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and contributing to our overall growth strategy.

The Role

  • Generate new business opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, and market research.

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products, services, and the climate tech industry.

  • Manage and nurture a pipeline of prospective clients, from initial contact and qualification to close.

  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.

  • Collaborate commercial leadership to develop effective sales strategies and materials.

  • Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets.

  • Provide feedback to the product development and research teams based on client interactions and market trends.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company’s CRM system.

  • Execute other tasks and projects common of a rapidly growing startup

The Essentials

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in business development or sales, with a track record of exceeding targets.

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office suite.

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically.

  • Passion for sustainability and climate tech innovation.

  • Strong understanding and passion for sustainability and climate tech market

  • Interest in financial markets, investment banking, private equity, and venture capital
