Angeleno Group is looking for a Senior Analyst or Associate to join our investment team to work on day-to-day research, investing, and portfolio management efforts.

 

Desired Start Date: Immediate

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Century City)

 

The Investment Senior Analyst or Associate will handle a wide range of important duties, including, but not limited to:

  • Sourcing and evaluating new investment opportunities, from having initial conversations with founders to supporting the due diligence and transaction closing processes
  • Driving the financial modeling and valuation of prospective investment opportunities
  • Conducting, analyzing and interpreting research on companies, industries and markets
  • Monitoring portfolio companies and helping with certain strategic, operational and financial initiatives
  • Helping to manage potential exits of current investments
  • Preparing detailed investment committee materials
  • Assisting team members with special projects
  • Helping with various “firm building” initiatives (e.g. information resource management, intern recruiting and mentoring)

 

Strong candidates will have:

  • 1-4 years of work experience in investment banking / management consulting / private equity / venture capital
  • Highly proficient in financial modeling
  • Superior analytical and research skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate findings to drive decision making
  • Extremely high attention to detail & the ability to manage different workflows
  • A track record of success (both professionally and academically) as a highly collaborative team-player
  • High proficiency in MS Powerpoint and MS Excel
