Brilliant Planet has an exciting opening for a Chief Engineer to lead the engineering process at the heart of our business. We envision this as a career-defining opportunity to lead the engineering design of a unique carbon capture platform, initially developing a 30-hectare demonstration site followed by a series of 1,000-hectare commercial sites (£100m+ ea.). The role ranges from managing traditional civils & concrete type design transforming large swathes of desert, through to integral use of the latest ML-driven automation, remote sensing and IoT driven systems operations. The ideal candidate would have experience in designing large infrastructure-type projects, comfort working with advanced manufacturing processes, embrace having a high degree of flexibility and accountability within a growth company and familiarity operating in challenging geographies. The right candidate may not have experience in all of these areas but will have a proactive attitude to quickly adapt.
