Job Brief

In this role, you will be overseeing the operations of the supply chain network, including the production facility, while working with a collaborative team. You will have an impact on Twelve’s mission to lead the way to a fossil-free future through carbon transformation. You will be partnering with finance, supply chain, manufacturing and operations to ensure efficient facility operations within a fluid startup environment.

Ensuring optimal production facility operations is integral to this role. You will make an impact by implementing efficiency enhancing strategies to optimize the production process. The ideal candidate has a strong background in engineering, mathematics, and business. We are seeking an industrial engineer with manufacturing/production experience who believes in Twelve’s mission.

What you will do 

  • Utilize process improvement experience to quantitatively assess current facilities and business system performance.
  • Execute changes to reduce costs, optimize capacity, and determine the optimal size of our facility based on available space, production needs, and costs.
  • Identify areas where improvements can be made in the production process; implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, finance, manufacturing and operations to understand current processes and identify bottlenecks.
  • Develop solutions for process improvement while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulatory agencies.
  • Develop reference class forecasting for internal and external projects to capture lessons learned from past projects of a similar nature.

Who you are 

  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years experience in data analytics.
  • You are proficient in data analysis and statistical tools (e.g. Excel, SQL (Structured Query Language), Python, R, etc.)
  • You have a strong knowledge of engineering principles, mathematics and lean manufacturing.
  • You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You are able to work independently and as part of a team.

A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level. 
 
United States Wage Range: $144,000 - $180,000
 
Please note that some pay bands may have wide ranges of compensation to accommodate candidate's diverse sets of skill levels.
