Position Overview: 

We are seeking an ambitious and resourceful Chief of Staff to join our team and help us build the future of clean energy. The Chief of Staff will act as the right hand of the Head of Operations and leadership team, providing critical support in managing and executing key initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency and facilitating communication with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who is capable of balancing a wide range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities:  

• Lead functional projects: Drive key initiatives across a wide range of organizational functions (e.g. People Ops, Finance, IT, and Marketing), in collaboration with a growing team of internal experts and external vendors  

• Help engage key stakeholders: Draft excellent, clear external communication with Board-level visibility; Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders  

• Make the organization more effective: Identify and implement improvements to make Pacific Fusion a highly effective organization and a great place to work

• Other strategic initiatives, as needed: Collaborate with the executive team to develop, communicate, and sustain other strategic initiatives

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; MBA or advanced degree preferred  

• 5+ years work experience in management consulting or operational leadership roles at rapidly-scaling startups 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities (must include some quantitative / financial modeling experience) 

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
