Investing globally across all impact sectors, our integrated strategy focuses on social impact in emerging markets and environmental impact in developed ones, through direct and co-investments in both equity and credit.
We are seeking to hire a New York based investment professional to join the Private Equity Direct Investments team specifically for the Climate Growth Fund ("CGF"). The CGF seeks to provide growth equity capital and business build expertise to companies supporting the net zero transition, resource efficiency, and improving resilience to climate change.
Role
The Analyst / Associate will work directly with senior investment members of the Climate Growth Fund and will have the following responsibilities:
- Assessing and valuing prospective investment opportunities.
- Modeling business plans, financial structures, and investment returns.
- Participating actively in due diligence workstreams on prospective investments (e.g. financial, commercial, technical, climate impact, ESG, tax, and legal due diligence).
- Preparing industry and competitive landscape research.
- Drafting investment evaluation materials and sector / theme analyses.
- Contributing to the negotiation and drafting of legal corporate documentation (e.g., financing agreements, purchase agreements, employment agreements, management incentive plans).
- Supporting portfolio companies throughout our investment period (including the planning, execution, and monitoring of value creation initiatives).
- Conducting business build efforts related to reporting and marketing.
Criteria
- Top academic credentials.
- 2+ years of relevant full-time working experience with a leading player in private equity, M&A advisory, leveraged finance, or management consulting.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication capabilities.
- High degree of attention to detail and excellent analytical / financial modeling skills.
- Strong capabilities in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent teamwork skills within international settings.
- High energy level coupled with a strong desire to learn and succeed, along with an impeccable work ethic and a professional demeanor.
- High motivation and desire to be part of building out a growing investment firm.

- Professional language proficiency in English.

The pay range for this role is USD 110,000 - 130,000 per year plus bonus.
