Company Overview:
Forum Mobility is driving the transition to zero emission freight. We are building a network of heavy-duty electric truck charging depots in and around ports and along common freight corridors and offer one-stop solutions for carriers and drivers. We provide charging, or a truck plus charging together, to make the transition to electric trucks as easy as possible for fleets and drivers. Success in this effort means cleaner air for our communities, a safer climate, and lower costs per mile for truckers. Based in San Francisco, Forum is currently operating in California with expansion plans. This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a growing company poised for tremendous impact.
Position Summary:
This position is Forum’s first dedicated marketing role and will lead efforts to develop and execute multi-channel marketing plans, and support the team in developing marketing materials that communicate our value proposition to diverse audiences in compelling ways. Forum needs to fill its depots with thousands of electric trucks over the next several years, and this role will be instrumental in filling them with ex-diesel drivers.
The ideal candidate is an entrepreneur at heart, able to create pathways where there are no maps; an excellent communicator and zero-emission freight evangelist; skilled project manager able to pursue multiple simultaneous priorities; creative campaigner and dynamic storyteller; excited about the challenge of understanding and connecting with the diverse trucker community; and has an analytic bent, able to test and refine strategies for ROI. We are looking for someone that is able engage deeply with the freight community, and help Forum convey our value proposition. The candidate must be comfortable with the challenges of a small company in growth-mode.
The role will report to the EVP of Policy and Communications, and will collaborate with the Sales and Development teams. The position is located in the Bay Area, within periodic commuting proximity to the Forum Mobility office in San Francisco, CA.
