Our mission is to move humanity off of fossil fuel heating. 20% of US global warming emissions come from homes (that's more than cars!). The largest driver of home emissions is burning fossil fuels for heat. To stop climate change, over 80M US homes need to transition from combustion to efficient, electric heat pumps over the coming decades.
We believe for this to happen the world needs fantastic products that are easy and desirable to purchase. Today's heat pumps lack great design, make limited use of software, and are difficult and stressful to adopt. We are building a next generation, beautifully designed, AI optimized home heating and cooling system that is 10x better than what is on the market today. And we are making it easy to purchase and adopt by managing all sales, rebates, permitting and installation for our customers.
Role
Quilt is looking to bring on a fantastic, consultative revenue leader to establish our sales function, reporting to the CEO. Quilt has thousands of interested customers on our waitlist and will see demand increase further with generous government incentives. We are building a team of Quilt Advisors to guide interested homeowners through the adoption process. Quilt Advisors will be the primary touchpoint for homeowners throughout their purchase journey, guiding them through an important (and at times intimidating) major purchase decision for their home. The Head of Sales will found and lead that team, establishing a high performing sales organization within Quilt.
This is an opportunity to help homeowners with a real and often challenging project for their homes that will both improve their quality of life and make a major impact on reducing carbon emissions.
